Family Business

Born and raised in Welwyn Village, owner of Welwyn Private Hire, Darren Bennett developed a love for cars and driving at a very young age from his father, Mick. Darren's father Mick ran a small local Taxi firm called "Micks Taxi's" from 1982, until his untimely death in 1994.  After Mick's passing Darren took over the Family business and has been running it ever since.

In 1998 Darren re-named his company Welwyn Private Hire, and since that time has successfully accumulated a large clientele base.

Welwyn Private Hire provides airport transfers in & about the London area. We offer door to door service to & from the airport, hotel or private residence as well as custom requests and major sporting events. However we do not specialise in short journey's.
